Took a trip to the Fruit Ridge Corn Maze on Halloween...
http://www.fruitridgehayrides.com/
Last year it was fun so thought we'd do it again. It was pretty chilly out, little wind but the sun was shinning which made it a nice day. They have alot of stuff for kids, pony rides, animals to feed, tractor rides, playground and hay rides.
we were greeted by this cat

Pumpkins!!!
Kinda started a tradition last year to do Pumpkins together and bake the seeds!
This year we got Dylan a pumpkin and some paint so he could do his own, He really enjoyed painting and really didn't wanna stop painting so we just let him continue painting on paper to keep him busy.
PICTURES!!!
Oh... and fun in leaves!
Full set can be found here...

Twins vs. Tigers 9/25/10
The Minnesota Twins vs. the Detroit Tigers. Last series at home before the end of the season. Back at Comerica Park, the last time we came was earlier in the summer. Very different games, standings wise and weather wise. The summer game: very hot and sunny. This game: cold and cloudy. Bought these tickets shortly after we went to the summer game, hoping the team would be in some sort of race to the playoffs. But unfortunately that wasn't the case, the Twins had already clinched our division and we were totally out of the running. But that doesn't mean we still can't go and support our team! And that's what we did :)
Bonderman was the starting pitcher. 1st inning, gave up a grand slam... It was already 5-0. But, I had faith in my team and they came out swinging. Game went into extra innings. 13 to be exact. Each extra inning was on-the-edge-of-your-seat intense. Hoping for no hits/runs and getting those outs. Bases were loaded, bottom of the 13th. My favorite player, Brandon Inge, was coming up to bat, he hadn't had a very good night, struck out at every bat I believe so it was kind of nerve racking. But I still thought to myself, "this is it, he's going to come up with something". And he did! He hit a single, and Cabrera came in to score to end the game! A walk-off single!
Here's the team after the walk-off.
Tigers win! What an amazing game to watch. It had some good plays and bad plays, but that's baseball. I was just glad to see such an exciting game and we had so much fun :)

busy weekend....
I worked on the CB360 a little....
Here are a few pictures of the Honda CB360 i picked up over Labor Day weekend..
I have cleaned it up a little so far, took the carbs off to clean them out, they were nasty (sat for too long)
Cleaned the points they looked decent, wasn't getting spark. Then i tried to fire it on carb cleaner and that worked. So im gonna throw the carbs back on and see if i can get it to run. I will need to get new seals for the carb, but i'll wait to see if i can get it running first before putting any real $$ into it.
Friday i finally got to Menards to pick up some blocks for the Hot tub we picked up from Rachel's Aunt earlier this spring. So i finally got those put down and the hot tub moved into position. Now just have to wire it up haha.
While i was at Menards i finally got some window / door trim & base molding for the kitchen... So we can have that finished and say its done!
trim all painted... did this Sat. night in the Garage
Sunday I worked on the GTI some putting it back together so i can get it outta the Garage.
I rolled it back over cause it was on its side and got to work on the front suspension and steering bits.
I'll be glad when its outta the garage and get the room back

The ramp is coming down...
I have been slowly tearing down my ramp & piling up wood to burn from it. The sheeting was so rotten in spots I had to pull it up in sections. Lots of great memories on this ramp with friends helping build it & riding it. Even when I couldn't ride when I tore my ACL, it was cool just having my friends over to hang, watch them ride and film.
Many thanks to everyone that helped work on the ramp $ and efforts & just shredding it with me.. Matt Morren, Bob Hammond, Joe Anderson, Evan Bartlett, Jay Simmons, Jeremy Ball, Jared Ball, Ryan Funnel, Ted Van Orman.... I know there are many others sorry if I didn't mention you.
